“A successful piece of art needs to provoke an idea or a feeling. I love hearing the stories and emotions that someone feels when they look at one of my paintings.
I want their imagination to wander through the luminous colors, deep layers, and movement that bring the piece to life.
Each painting I create is a very personal expression into which I pour my curiosity, feelings and countless creative decisions about colors, shapes, lines and textures while balancing simplicity and complexity.
The ultimate reward for me is when my personal expression resonates with another human on some level. That connection is the real magic of art.”
